We heard from our vet today and yes, Tacoma's tumor is malignant. It needs to come out NOW so Greg will be bringing her in at 7:30am tomorrow morning. Our vet, Dr. Sova, will first do x-rays to determine if the cancer has spread anywhere else. They will then remove the tumor. It is a same day procedure so we should have some new by the evening. My head hurts from questioning everything today!
Me, the early half of the day was a bit rough, taking my compazine and trying to "get normal". Tomorrow will be one week since last round so I hope I feel much better! Many thanks to Christine's folks the Brewers for tonight's wonderful dinner!
Things We Can Learn From A Dog
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.
Allow the experience of fresh air &
the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps & stretch before rising.
Run, romp & play daily.
Eat with gusto & enthusiasm.
Be Loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent,
sit close by & nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on attention & let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On hot days, drink lots of water & lay under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around & wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded,
don't buy into the guilt thing & pout...
run right back & make friends.
Bond with your pack.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
